CHICAGO -- Senior Sarah Loh (Grand Rapids, Mich./ Forest Hills Northern) tied a University of Chicago women's soccer record with four goals as the 22nd-ranked Maroons defeated DePauw University 6-0 Sunday at Stagg Field.

ELMHURST, Ill. -- The University of Chicago volleyball team improved to 6-0 with a pair of wins Saturday at the Elmhurst College Invitational. Juniors Colleen Belak (Louisville, Ky./ Presentation) and Isis Smalls (Humble, Texas/ Atascocita) (pictured) were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

Maroons Defeat Beloit on Late TD

BELOIT, Wis. -- Senior quarterback Marshall Oium (Temecula, Calif./ Great Oak) connected with senior wideout Clay Wolff (St. Louis, Mo./ Christian Brothers) on a 6-yard touchdown pass in the game's final minute as the University of Chicago football team defeated host Beloit College 28-25 in the season opener for both teams Saturday night.

Maroons Rally for Overtime Win at Aurora

AURORA, Ill. -- Sophomore Yoni Einhorn (Winter Park, Fla./ Winter Park) scored the tying and winning goal as the University of Chicago men's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat host Aurora University 3-2 in overtime Saturday afternoon.

Chicago Wins Elmhurst Invite

ELMHURST, Ill. -- University of Chicago runners finished first, second, and third as the 12th-ranked women's cross country team won the 14-team Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational Friday afternoon. Senior Liz Lawton (North Easton, Mass./ Thayer Academy) (pictured) led the 156-runner field with a four-kilometer time of 14:24.

 
 
Hu & Higgins Repeat as NCAA Doubles Champions

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (May 30, 2010) -- University of Chicago junior Chrissy Hu (Palo Alto, Calif./ Palo Alto) and sophomore Kendra Higgins (Vero Beach, Fla./ Vero Beach) rallied from a one-set deficit to win their second consecutive NCAA Division III doubles title.

BEREA, Ohio (May 29, 2010) -- University of Chicago junior Liz Lawton (North Easton, Mass./ Thayer Academy) won her second national title in three days as she led the field in the 5,000-meter run at the 2010 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Women's Tennis Finishes 4th at NCAA Championship

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (May 27, 2010) -- Amherst College defeated the University of Chicago 5-2 in the 2010 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship third-place match. The Maroons became the first team in school history to post a top-four finish in NCAA Division III competition in consecutive years.

CHICAGO (May 10, 2010) -- The University of Chicago softball team has received an at-large bid to participate in the 2010 NCAA Division III Championship. The Maroons will travel to Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, for an eight-team, double-elimination regional beginning Thursday, May 13.

CLEVELAND (Apr. 18, 2010) -- For the first time in the 23-year history of the University Athletic Association, the University of Chicago has captured the women's tennis team championship. The third-ranked Maroons defeated fourth-ranked Emory University 5-3 in the title match to end the Eagles' 22-year championship reign.
