How my student-athlete experience prepared me for where I am today
"E.F. Beyer, my gymnastics coach was, and remains, a major influence in my life choices. His 'teachings' reached far beyond performance in the gym."

My most memorable moment as a University of Chicago athlete
"My most memorable moment was taking 4th in NCAA tumbling in 1950. I was recently awarded All American honors (retroactively) by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches."

Memories of being a student-athlete I would like to share
"I also performed in Acrotheater 'Magic Rope' which led to an enjoyment of on-stage acting as a hobby."

What I am doing today, and how I got there
"I am now retired and live on Lake Michigan. I am active in local service groups and am secretary of the World Acrobatics Society."
