How
my student-athlete experience prepared me for where I am today
"Being
a member of a team helped me to learn how to get along with people.
I was treated with respect, and in turn I treated people the same."
My
most memorable moment as a University of Chicago athlete
"We beat Northwestern University (1950) in a baseball
game at Stagg Field - a no-hit game by the late Gene Borowitz. I
hit a 2-run homer and we won 2-1."
Memories
of being a student-athlete I would like to share
"Good friends. On December 12th, 2005, I had lunch
at the U of C and attended the Kalamazoo basketball game with five
people I played basketball with in 1949 and 1950."
What
I am doing today, and how I got there
"I am practicing law with my son in Palatine.
I was a Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County for 30 years." |
