How my student-athlete experience prepared me for where I am today
"The discipline required to study, practice, and play was key to my development as a professional in 'real life'. Overcoming challenges as a player helped me not to become discouraged by life's reversals. Teamwork on the court translated directly to a life of building and sustaining business teams."

My most memorable moment as a University of Chicago athlete
"I remember most vividly our participation in 1961-62 NCAA basketball tournament, winning our regional, and competing in the final eight."

Memories of being a student-athlete I would like to share
"The friendships that I formed as a U of C student-athlete are still the closest that I have today from that era."

What I am doing today, and how I got there
"Today, I still work with 'teams' of educators as executive director of a national network of academic games leagues, which lead to an annual national championship, which I organize and host."
