How my student-athlete experience prepared me for where I am today
"I was always competitive and playing Big 10 baseball probably made me even more so."

My most memorable moment as a University of Chicago athlete
"Winning my first conference game 3-2 against University of Wisconsin in 1937."

Memories of being a student-athlete I would like to share
"It helped generate school spirit."

What I am doing today, and how I got there
"I am retired in an upscale retirement community in Arizona and active in a science and writers club. I have published two books in the last three years: "The Last Bonanza", "An Airplane was my Burro, or Memoirs of an Vertiaresome Geologist." My work was with Illinois State Geological Survey, Foreign Section of the US Geological Survey, 3 major mining companies, lead, zinc, copper, uranium, and coal. As an exploration geologist I had three major discoveries."
