Scott Budeselich begins his eighth season as assistant baseball coach at Chicago in 2010. During his tenure, the Maroons have compiled a record of 132-100-1 and have enjoyed six .500 or better campaigns.

Budeselich arrived at Chicago in August 2002 after serving as special projects coordinator at the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) central office.

Budeselich played three seasons at Chicago State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in physical education in 1998. In 1997, he was selected to the Mid-Continent Conference All-Academic Team. While attending Chicago State, he also served as a student assistant teacher and assistant junior varsity baseball coach at south suburban Thornwood High School.

Budeselich earned a master's degree in sports administration from Central Michigan University in 2002. In addition to his coaching duties at Chicago, Budeselich also serves as assistant sports information director.
