The football coaching staff is very excited about the Class of 2011. We believe that the Class of 2011 brings more speed and athleticism to the Midway than any class in the modern era.

The addition of five wide receivers, three running backs, two offensive linemen, one tight end, and one quarterback to the Maroon’s offense will provide a big punch.

Current Chicago sophomore Bill Cheng will also help booster the running back position, as he is returning to the field following a knee injury. Bill last winter won the UAA Championship in the 55-meter dash for the Maroon’s indoor track team.

The defensive side of the ball will be highlighted by outstanding athletes as well. Six defensive backs, three linebackers, and four defensive linemen will be big contributors for the 2007 Chicago defense.

The 16 skill players will play a major role in the return game and special team coverage.
