The Maroons completed their non-conference schedule with a record of 7-4 after two tough victories at the Ratner Center.

We defeated Babson by a score of 73-69 and followed that up with a 80-73 overtime victory on Saturday against MSOE.

Each game was very challenging, and it was a good sign that the team was able to find a way to pull out wins.

We open up UAA play this week in St. Louis against Washington University. WashU is currently ranked #7 in the country and will start a series of extremely competitive games in the UAA.

The UAA currently has three teams ranked in the top 10 in the country and is the only league in the country that currently has no teams with a record under .500. Currently the league has won over 78% of their non-conference games, which sets the stage for what should be a very interesting conference race!

I hope to see many of you throughout the conference season, whether at the Ratner Center or on the road.

As a reminder our Alumni Game will be on Saturday February 9th. I hope that our former players are making plans to join us for that weekend.

Take Care,
Mike McGrath
