The team won its last two games before the holiday vacation this past weekend.
On Saturday we played our best game of the year and defeated Illinois Wesleyan by a score of 85-70. We actually led by as many as 26 in the second half.
On Sunday we followed up with another strong performance and defeated Concordia (IL) by a score of 78-65. It was a great way to go into the break as we moved our record to 5-4 and hopefully set the tone for our play when we return.
The team will come back to campus after Christmas and get ready for our final two non-conference games.
On Sunday, December 30th we will play Babson College (MA) at 2:00 pm at the Ratner Center. We follow that up with a game at home against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Jan. 5th at 3:00 pm. The team will try to get two more wins and head into UAA play with a lot of momentum.
The guys definitely enjoy this break and the chance to spend some quality time with friends and family. I hope that all of you and your families enjoy a great holiday season. We'll look forward to seeing you at the games after the holiday.
