The 2008 Highlight DVD was a giant hit.  Some believed it to the best ever seen on the Midway.  It was produced by assistant coach Tony Hardie.  A huge thank you goes to Coach Hardie on a job well done.

The evening concluded with Head Coach Dick Maloney addressing the gathering with the challenges facing the 2009 Maroons.  Coach Maloney noted that continued physical development -- being bigger, faster, and stronger -- would be tremendously important this off-season and challenged the squad to report in better than “ready to play” condition than in August 2009.

Coach Maloney commented that the Maroons have 16 returning players that garnered All-UAA honors, which is a great nucleus, but compared to Case (17 returning All-UAA players) and Washington (16), other UAA squads have experienced and talented underclassmen as well.

Coach Maloney challenged each returner to be fully invested in the program in order to do their personal best in the team’s quest for excellence in 2009.

“Raise the Bar” in 2009!
