Chicago Announces 10-Game Slate for 2010

CHICAGO -- University of Chicago Head Football Coach Dick Maloney has announced his team's 2010 schedule, which for the first time since 1995 features 10 contests. Chicago, which finished 5-4 this past season, kicks off the season with night games in back-to-back weeks, at Beloit College on Sept. 4 and at home against Concordia University Chicago on Sept. 11.

Dee Brizzolara Claims National Statistics Title

CHICAGO -- University of Chicago freshman wide receiver/kick returner Dee Brizzolara (Aurora, Ohio/ Aurora) was the NCAA Division III leader in all-purpose yardage according to the final national statistics report for the 2009 season. Brizzolara led the nation with an average of 220.2 all-purpose yards per game.

CHICAGO -- University of Chicago freshman Dee Brizzolara (Aurora, Ohio/ Aurora) has been named the Rookie of the Year and one of 18 Maroons to earn all-conference honors as the University Athletic Association today announced its 2009 All-Association Football Team.
