CHICAGO -- University of Chicago sophomore defensive end Jake Longtin (Sioux City, Iowa/ North) (pictured) and freshman wide receiver Dee Brizzolara (Aurora, Ohio/ Aurora) have been selected as the University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for football, the conference announced today.
CHICAGO -- Junior quarterback Marshall Oium (Temecula, Calif./ Great Oak) (pictured) and freshman wide receiver Dee Brizzolara (Aurora, Ohio/ Aurora) combined to set or tie three school records as the University of Chicago football team defeated Carnegie Mellon University 24-7 in the season finale for both teams Saturday at Stagg Field. The victory gave Chicago (5-4 overall, 1-2 UAA) its first winning season since 2005.
