Three Maroons Net All-UAA Honors
 CHICAGO -- Three University of Chicago men's basketball players have been named to the 2009 All-University Athletic Association Team, the conference announced today. Junior John Kinsella (Chicago, Ill./ University High) (pictured) was selected to the Second Team, while senior Adam Machones (Duluth, Minn./ Marshall) and junior Jake Pancratz (Schaumburg, Ill./ Schaumburg) garnered honorable mention recognition.

John Kinsella Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week
 CHICAGO -- University of Chicago junior men's basketball player John Kinsella (Chicago, Ill./ University High) was selected to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week. Kinsella averaged 24.5 points as the Maroons completed a UAA weekend sweep.

Maroons Tie UAA 3-Point Mark in Win Over Brandeis
CHICAGO -- Hitting a University Athletic Association record-tying 17 three-point field goals, the University of Chicago men's basketball team defeated Brandeis University 90-81 Friday night at the Ratner Athletics Center. Junior John Kinsella (Chicago, Ill./ University High) led Chicago with 22 points, and senior Adam Machones (Duluth, Minn./ Marshall) (pictured) turned in his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 assists. |
