UAA Preseason Poll
CHICAGO, Ill.-- After finishing 14-11 overall last year, the University of Chicago men's basketball has been picked to finish sixth in the University Athletic Association (UAA) preseason basketball coaches poll.
The Maroons tied for fifth in the league last year with a 7-7 conference record. The team graduated seven seniors off last year's team, including lead scorer Matt Johnson (20.2 points per game). The 2012-13 edition of the Maroons features one senior, four juniors, four sophomores and six freshmen.

Washington University-St. Louis is the preseason favorite in UAA. Last season, the Bears were 11-3 in league contests and 20-7 overall en route to the conference title.
