Univ. of Chicago Harriers Compete at Augustana
Rock Island, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's and women's cross country teams placed sixth and 13th, respectively, at the Brissman Lundeen Invitational Friday afternoon at Augustana College.
Sophomore Tom Haxton (Seattle, Wash./Shorecrest) led the men's team, placing eighth among 471 runners with a time of 25:09.
Senior Margaret Bradley (Falmouth, Mass./Falmouth) was the women's top finisher, taking 36th among 414 competitors with a time of 19:00.
Augustana will host the NCAA Division III regional and national championships in November.
