Univ. of Chicago Competes at Illinois Wesleyan Track Invite
Bloomington, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed in a non-team scoring event Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan University.
In the men's competition, senior Jerome Tharaud (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman) won the 5000-meter run competition with a time of 15:17.67.
In the women's event, freshman Erin Steiner (Western Springs, Ill./Lyons Township) placed second in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:43.20.
