Open Season with Wins
Chicago -- The University of Chicago men's and women's indoor track & field teams opened their 2002 seasons as they hosted the Chicago Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Chicago won both meets. In the men's competition, the Maroons garnered 160 points to 152 for Elmhurst College and 83 for Olivet Nazarene University.
In the women's competition, Chicago collected 135 points. Elmhurst (94), Chicago State University (88), Olivet Nazarene (74), and North Central College (30) rounded out the field.
