Three Track Athletes to Compete
at NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship
Chicago -- Three University of Chicago men's track & field athletes will compete in the 2002 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships Thursday through Saturday, May 23-25 at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Senior Jerome Tharaud (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman) will participate in the steeplechase and the 5,000-meter run. Sophomore Adeoye Mabogunje (Tamuning, Guam/St. John's) qualified to compete in the triple jump and high jump. Sophomore Patrick Sullivan (Wilmette, Ill./Loyola Academy) will participate in the 1,500-meter run.
