Jerome Tharaud, Adeoye Mabogunje Compete
at
NCAA Division III Outdoor Track Championship
St. Paul, Minn. -- University of Chicago senior Jerome Tharaud (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman) and sophomore Adeoye Mabogunje (Tamuning, Guam/St. John's) competed on the second day of the 2002 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship Friday at Macalester College.
Tharaud finished in 15th place in the steeplechase with a time of 9:35.77
Competing in the triple jump, Mabogunje reached a distance of 14.17 meters in the preliminary heat, but did not advance to the finals.
