Men's Outdoor Track & Field Runner-Up
at 2002 UAA Championship

Atlanta -- Senior Jerome Tharaud (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman) won two events as the University of Chicago captured second place at the 2002 University Athletic Association Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship Friday and Saturday at Emory University.

Emory won the team title with 179 points to Chicago's 155.5.

On the weekend, Chicago featured 12 individual All-UAA performers, including five champions. In addition, the Maroons 400-meter relay team garnered All-Association recognition on the basis of its third-place finish.
