Women's Outdoor Track & Field Seventh
at 2002 UAA Championship
Atlanta -- Sophomore Valerie Anderson (Timonium, Md./Dulaney) earned All-University Athletic Association honors as the University of Chicago captured seventh place at the 2002 UAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship Friday and Saturday at Emory University.
Anderson was the runner-up in the hammer throw competition with an NCAA Division III provisional-qualifying distance of 45.89 meters.
Washington (Mo.) University won the team title.
