Mike Bishof Named UAA Athlete of the Week

Chicago -- University of Chicago sophomore Mike Bishof (Oak Brook, Ill./ York) has been named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for wrestling, the conference announced today.

Bishof took top honors at the 165-pound weight class as the Maroons captured third place at the nine-team Manchester College Spartan Mat Classic this past Saturday, Jan. 22. He won four matches on the day, one by fall and three by decision, en route to the 165-pound title.

Bishop earned UAA Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in his career.
