Chicago -- The University of Chicago distance medley relay team earned University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honors for men's indoor track & field, the UAA announced today.
The foursome of senior Jerome Tharaud (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman), juniors Tim Tuff (San Mateo, Calif./Half Moon Bay) and Ryan Raimo (Duluth, Minn./Denfeld) and sophomore Patrick Sullivan (Wilmette, Ill./Loyola Academy) turned in an NCAA Division III provisional-qualifying performance at the Chicago Phoenix Invitational on Feb. 22. Tharaud, Sullivan, Tuff, and Raimo combined to register a time of 10:07.18.
All four runners earned UAA indoor track & field Athlete of the Week recognition for the first time this season. Sullivan was recognized in men's cross country this past fall.
