Adeoye Mabogunje Named UAA Athlete of the Week
Chicago -- University of Chicago sophomore Adeoye Mabogunje (Tamuning, Guam/St. John's) was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's outdoor track & field, the UAA announced today.
At the Wheaton College Invitational on Mar. 30, Mabogunje won the triple jump competition with an NCAA Division III provisional-qualifying leap of 14.50 meters.
Mabogunje was recognized as the UAA Athlete of the Week for the first time this year in outdoor track & field. He was honored three times during the indoor season.
