Named UAA Athlete of the Week

Chicago -- University of Chicago sophomore Tom Haxton (Seattle, Wash./Shorecrest) was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's cross country, the conference announced today.

Honored for the second straight week, Haxton finished 19th overall, and fifth among NCAA Division III competitors, at the University of Notre Dame Invitational on Oct. 5. He covered the 8,000-meter course in 25:35 as the Maroons finished 11th out of 18 teams and third among Division III schools.
