Maroons Fall to #11 Carthage

Chicago -- The University of Chicago men's tennis team fell 6-1 to 11th-ranked Carthage College Saturday at the Evergreen Fitness and Racquet Club.

Sophomore Vivek Venkataraman (Columbus, Ohio/ Columbus Academy) posted the Maroons' lone win with a 6-2, 6-1 decision at third singles over Carthage's Alex Donkor, the Central Region's 21st-ranked player.

Chicago fell to 11-5 on the season, while Carthage improved to 7-2.
