Maroons Fall in NCAA Regional Semifinal

St. Peter, Minn. -- The University of Chicago men's tennis team fell to Carthage College 5-0 in NCAA Division III Central Regional semifinal play Friday afternoon at Gustavus Adolphus College.

Chicago, which was making its first-ever NCAA Division III postseason appearance in men's tennis, finished the season with a record of 18-10.

Carthage (20-5) moves on to Saturday's regional championship match against the winner of Friday's other semifinal contest between Gustavus Adolphus (26-4) and Coe College (23-8)
