Maroons Place Third at UAA Championship

Boston -- The University of Chicago men's tennis team defeated Washington (Mo.) University 4-3 in the third-place match at the 2005 University Athletic Association Championship Sunday at Brandeis University.

Chicago's third-place finish marks its highest since a runner-up showing in 1995.

Sunday's win over Washington improved the Maroons' overall record to 18-9.
