Chicago Falls to IIT

Chicago -- The University of Chicago volleyball team fell to the Illinois Institute of Technology 30-25, 30-26, 30-22 in non-conference play Thursday evening at the Henry Crown Field House.

Sophomore outside hitter Katie Meinhover (Ottertail, Minn./ Perham) led Chicago (6-25) with nine kills to go along with 13 digs. Sophomore libero Tracie Kenyon (Sunnyvale, Calif./ St. Francis) collected a team-high 15 digs.

The loss was the Maroons' third in a row.

With its fifth consecutive victory, Illinois Tech improved its record to 18-15.
