Chicago Wins Home Finale

Chicago -- Sophomore outside hitter Erica Pettke (Sussex, Wis./ Divine Savior Holy Angles) hit 14 kills and contributed 16 digs to lead the University of Chicago to a 30-22, 30-21, 25-30, 30-28 win over Lake Forest College in non-conference volleyball action Saturday at the Henry Crown Field House.

Sophomore outside hitter Katie Meinhover (Ottertail, Minn./ Perham) and sophomore middle hitter Emma Hamilton (Washington, D.C./ National Cathedral) also finished with double digit kills for the Maroons, Meinhover with 13 and Hamilton with 11.

Hamilton also collected six blocks, while Meinhover registered four.

Sophomore libero Tracie Kenyon (Sunnyvale, Calif./ St. Francis) was credited with 21 digs.

Playing in their final home match of the year, the Maroons snapped a three-match losing skid and improved to 7-25 on the year.
