Erica Pettke Named to All-Tournament Team at Lake Forest

Lake Forest, Ill. -- Sophomore outside hitter Erica Pettke (Sussex, Wis./ Divine Savior Holy Angels) was named to the all-tournament team as the University of Chicago volleyball team posted a 1-2 record at the Lake Forest College Invitational on Saturday.

In the first match, Pettke hit 15 kills and collected four blocks as the Maroons fell to Dominican University 28-30, 30-26, 30-16, 30-20. She then hit 13 kills and registered five blocks in a 22-30, 30-27, 26-30, 30-22, 15-13 loss to Lake Forest. In Saturday's fifth-place contest, Pettke finished with 12 kills, seven digs, and three blocks as Chicago defeated Principia College 30-24, 30-22, 30-20.

On the weekend, Pettke totaled 40 kills, 21 digs, 12 blocks, and four aces.

Chicago, which snapped a six-match losing streak with the win over Principia, stands at 5-20 on the season.
