Chicago Falls to St. Mary's (Ind.)

Notre Dame, Ind. -- The University of Chicago volleyball team dropped its fifth straight match Tuesday night as it fell to host St. Mary's (Ind.) University 30-19, 32-30, 30-28.

Freshman middle hitter Leslie Kurkjian (San Francisco, Calif./ Lowell) led the Maroons with nine kills and a .467 hitting percentage (9-2-15). Sophomore middle hitter Emma Hamilton (Washington, D.C./ National Cathedral) finished with eight kills and three blocks, while sophomore Katie Meinhover (Ottertail, Minn./ Perham) collected 18 digs, seven kills, and four blocks.
