Maroons Rise to #22 in NCAA Division III Poll

Chicago -- The University of Chicago women's cross country team climbed one spot from 23rd to 22nd in this week's poll of NCAA Division III coaches.

Chicago, which was idle last week, was one of five Midwest Region teams listed in this week's poll. The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point was ranked third, followed by UW-Oshkosh (#4), UW-LaCrosse (#11), and Washington (Mo.) University (#12).

The Maroons return to action on Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Loyola (Ill.) University Lakefront Invitational.
