For Immediate Release Maroons Place Third at UAA Championship Rochester, N.Y. -- Sophomore Dilshanie Perera (Princeton, N.J./ Princeton) led the University of Chicago women's cross country team to a third-place finish at the 2004 University Athletic Association Championship Saturday at the University of Rochester. Chicago finished with 106 points in the team standings. Washington (Mo.) University won the title with 22 points, while Emory University placed second with 36. Perera and junior Jessica Winter (Wheaton, Ill./ Wheaton-Warrenville South) earned All-UAA second team accolades by finishing eighth and 13th, respectively, with times of 24:07 and 24:34 on the six-kilometer course.
