Potts, Tamillow Named to Academic All-District Team

Chicago -- University of Chicago senior defensive tackle Rob Tamillow (Oak Park, Ill./ Fenwick) and junior tackle Ben Potts (Valparaiso, Ind./ Valparaiso) have been selected to the 2005 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Team.

Tamillow, a philosophy major with a 3.50 grade point average, and Potts, a history major with a 3.80 GPA, were chosen to the second team. Both players also received University Athletic Association All-Academic Recognition Awards earlier this season.

Tamillow leads the Maroons with 16 tackles-for-loss and seven sacks through seven games this season. Potts has started all seven games at the left tackle slot.
