November 5, 2005 CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's swimming & diving team defeated Illinois Wesleyan University 120-83 in dual meet action Saturday at the Myers-McLoraine Pool. One of five Maroons to post first-place finishes, junior James Viccaro (Riverside, Ill./ Riverside-Brookfield) took top honors in two events, winning the 50- and 100-yard freestyle with respective times of 22.39 and 49.94 seconds. Chicago improved to 3-0-1 in dual meets on the year. |
