February 4, 2006 CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The 25th-ranked University of Chicago men's tennis team won a pair of matches Saturday at Coe College, defeating the host Kohawks 4-3 before defeating Cornell (Iowa) College 6-0. Sophomores Sasha Deriy (Bolingbrook, Ill./ IMSA), Joseph Tchan (Woodland Hills, Calif./ Taft), and Bharath Sithian (Staten Island, N.Y./ Staten Island Academy) each won two matches in singles play. In doubles, senior
Ward Bortz (Brookfield, Wis./ Marquette) and freshman Alex Winney
(Yorktown, Ind./ Yorktown) notched a pair of victories at the second
