Maroons Win Home Finale

Chicago -- Sophomore middle hitter Koryn Kendall (Napa, Calif./ Vintage) hit 21 kills and collected three blocks as the University of Chicago volleyball team defeated Lake Forest College 26-30, 30-26, 30-27, 24-30, 15-12 in the Maroons' 2005 home finale Tuesday night at the Ratner Athletics Center.

Senior outside hitters Erica Pettke (Sussex, Wis./ Divine Savior Holy Angels) and Katie Meinhover (Ottertail, Minn./ Perham) hit 16 and 12 kills, respectively, while senior Rose Kulczycki (Urbana, Ill./Urbana) had 32 digs.

Chicago improved its home record to 4-2 and its overall mark to 8-14.

Lake Forest fell to 15-9.
