Maroons Finish 13th at Loyola Invitational

Chicago -- The 18th-ranked University of Chicago women's cross country team placed 13th at the 33rd Annual Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational, hosted by Loyola (Ill.) University Saturday at Montrose Avenue Beach.

Chicago was the only NCAA Division III participant in the 28-team field, which included 18 NCAA Division I teams.

Senior Jessica Winter (Wheaton, Ill./ Wheaton-Warrenville South) finished 15th among 274 runners with a time of 18:10 on the five-kilometer course to lead the Maroons.
