Maroons Fall to #11 Olivet

CHICAGO -- Eleventh-ranked Olivet College defeated the University of Chicago wrestling team 26-13 in dual match competition Wednesday at the Ratner Athletics Center.

The Comets (10-0-1) won seven of 10 bouts, including a pair of overtime decisions, en route to the win. Jason Brew, currently ranked fourth in the NCAA Division III at 149 pounds, posted a 9-1 victory.

Junior Ben Barnes (Wheaton, Ill./ Wheaton-Warrenville South) won his team-leading ninth match of the year for the Maroons (2-3), pinning Olivet's Ryan Newberry at 4:06.

Junior Andrew Bribriesco (Bettendorf, Iowa/ Bettendorf) and freshman Ben Hart (Wood Dale, Ill./ Fenton) also notched wins by decision.
