Chicago Announces 2007 Captains
CHICAGO -- University of Chicago Head Football Coach Dick Maloney announced today that junior linebacker Tony Insalaco (Mokena, Ill./ Lincoln-Way East) and junior defensive back Mike Harriett (St. Charles, Ill./ North) have been elected co-captains for the 2007 season.
Insalaco led the 2006 Maroons in tackles (61), tackles-for-loss (9.5), sacks (6.5), forced fumbles (4), and fumble recoveries (3) en route to garnering All-University Athletic Association honorable mention accolades for the second straight year.
Harriett also earned All-UAA honorable mention status after collecting 49 tackles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception this past season. He registered double-digit tackles on two occasions.
Chicago, which posted a 4-5 overall record this past fall, kicks off its 2007 campaign at Concordia University Chicago on September 8.
