Two Maroons Selected for NCAA Division III Championship
CHICAGO -- University of Chicago seniors Brian Hague (Chicago, Ill./ Brother Rice) and Emil Bojanov (Sofia, Bulgaria/ Dulaney, Md.) have been selected to participate in the 2006 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship on Saturday, November 18 in West Chester, Ohio.
Hague and Bojanov were among 56 runners -- the first seven from each region who are not a part of a qualifying team -- who earned the opportunity to participate in the Division III championship meet.
At the November 11 Midwest Regional, Hague and Bojanov finished ninth and 13th, respectively, with times of 25:02 and 25:13.
Wilmington College will host the national championship meet at Voice of America Park. The race is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.
