August 29, 2006 CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's soccer team was ranked 20th in the NCAA Division III in a preseason poll released by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Chicago, which opens its 2006 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 2 at home against Kalamazoo College, advanced to the NCAA Division III regional semifinals with a 14-5-1 mark last year. Head Coach Scott Wiercinski is set to begin his first campaign at Chicago. He spent the past five years as an assistant coach at Brown University. |
