Maroons Win Four of Five at Chicago Duals
CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's indoor track & field team posted a 4-1 mark at the Chicago Duals Saturday at the Henry Crown Field House.
Junior Zach Rodgers (Nashville, Tenn./ University) led the way for the Maroons, as he took top honors in the triple jump (13.72 m) and was the runner-up in the high jump (1.79 m) and 55-meter hurdles (8.33 seconds).
Seniors Brian Hague (Chicago, Ill./ Brother Rice) and Mike Doll (West Chicago, Ill./ West Chicago) also notched first-place finishes. Hague won the mile run (4:21.51), while Doll led all competitors in the 55-meter hurdles (8.33 seconds). Hague was also the runner-up in the 800-meter run (2:00.21).
Chicago notched dual meet victories over Beloit College (116-39), Lawrence University (114-38), North Park University (116-28), and Elmhurst College (94-55). North Central College -- which was 5-0 in duals -- defeated the Maroons 91-75.
