Maroons Drop Two at Lake Forest Quad
LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The University of Chicago volleyball team lost two matches Saturday at the Lake Forest College Quadrangular. The Maroons fell to the seventh-ranked University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh 30-20, 30-13, 30-21 before dropping a 24-30, 30-28, 30-25, 30-24 decision to Judson College.

Junior middle hitter Erin O'Neill (Peoria, Ill./ Notre Dame) collected seven blocks, and freshman middle hitter Anika Heavener (Telford, Pa./ Souderton) had six as the Maroons fell to seventh-ranked Wisconsin-Oshkosh (20-3) in their eighth match against a nationally-ranked opponent. this season. Sophomore outside hitter Katie Given (Atherton, Calif./ Castilleja School) hit a team-high six kills.

With 24 assists, senior setter Nikki Sindy (Granger, Ind./ Penn) became Chicago's all-time leader with 2,896 during her career. Heavener led the Maroons (4-19) with 14 kills, while O'Neill and junior middle hitter Koryn Kendall (Napa, Calif./ Vintage) registered seven and five blocks, respectively.
