Chicago (17-5, 6-5) led for the last time, 18-17, on a layup by junior Nicaya Rapier (Munster, Ind./ Bishop Noll) at the 9:53 mark of the opening period. Emory regained the lead 14 seconds later on a jumper by Kaplan.

Bergmann then scored eight points during the next 6:18 as the Eagles built a 64-57 lead with 1:00 left.
Junior Nofi Mojidi's (Silver Spring, Md./ Bullis School) three-pointer cut the Eagles' lead to 64-60 with 46 seconds to play, but the Maroons missed three shots the rest of the way and could get no closer.
Bergmann hit one of two attempts from the foul line with 40 seconds remaining and connected on a pair of tries with 21 seconds left. Kaplan sealed the win as she buried two foul shots with seven seconds showing on the clock.
