Maroons Ranked 16th, 23rd in NCAA Division III Polls
CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's basketball team has been ranked 16th and 23rd, respectively, in the USA Today/ESPN and D3hoops.com NCAA Division III polls released today.
Chicago dropped a pair of closely-contested games against nationally-ranked University Athletic Association rivals on the road last weekend. After falling 52-50 at then 19th-ranked Brandeis University (Feb. 2), the Maroons lost at then #12 New York University 76-75 (Feb. 4).
Chicago (16-4 overall, 5-4 UAA) concludes the home portion of its regular season schedule this week as it hosts Case Western Reserve University on Friday, Feb. 9 and Emory University on Sunday, Feb. 11. Game times are slated for 6:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m., respectively.
