Chicago Ranked #25 in NCAA Division III Poll
CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's basketball team has been ranked 25th in this week's USA Today/ESPN poll of NCAA Division III schools.
Chicago split a pair of University Athletic Association games on the road last week, falling to the then 13th-ranked University of Rochester 64-59 (Feb. 16) before defeating Carnegie Mellon University 65-56 (Feb. 18).
The Maroons (18-6 overall, 7-6 UAA) travel to St. Louis to face 10th-ranked Washington (Mo.) University in the regular season finale Saturday, February 24.
Chicago remains in contention for an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. The NCAA is scheduled to announce the complete tournament bracket on Monday morning, February 26.
