December 20, 2006 CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago women's basketball team has been ranked 14th and 17th, respectively, in this week's USA Today/ESPN and D3hoops.com NCAA Division III polls. Last week, Chicago (9-0) stood 18th in the USA Today/ESPN rankings and was listed 19th by D3hoops.com. Chicago won three games last week, defeating North Central College 69-43 (Dec. 12), North Park University 81-55 (Dec. 16), and Carthage College 72-53 (Dec. 18). The Maroons are idle until Tuesday, January 2 when they entertain Wheaton (Ill.) College at 6:00 p.m. |
