Maroons Fall Behind Early, Lose 2-1 at Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The 10th-ranked University of Rochester scored twice in the game's first five minutes en route to a 2-1 University Athletic Association victory over the University of Chicago women's soccer team Friday night at Fauver Stadium.

Just 42 seconds into the contest, Ashley Weagraff scored off an assists from Mary Walsh and Anne McMahon to give Rochester (9-0-2 overall, 2-0-1 UAA) the early lead.

Walsh then tallied at the 4:40 mark, as Stephanie Klenotich picked up the assist.

Junior midfielder Eva DeLaurentiis (Frankfort, Ill./ Lincoln Way East) put the Maroons (8-3-1, 1-2-0) on the board with her first of the season at 23:17.

The host Yellowjackets held a 12-3 edge in shots.
