January 20, 2007 KENOSHA, Wis. -- The University of Chicago women's swimming & diving team lost a pair of dual meets Saturday at Carthage College, falling to the host Lady Reds 151-111 and to 15th-ranked Wheaton (Ill.) College 184-78. Freshman Cassie O'Neill (Roseburg, Ore./ Roseburg) was the Maroons' lone event winner on the day. She took top honors in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke with respective times of 1:09.67 and 2:28.82. Chicago slipped to 5-2 in dual meet competition this season. |
